MYKL - another music cooperation for Ella

According to the Hamada Mania Music Blog, Ella is working with the songwriting and production duo Make You Know Love (aka MYKL) for upcoming second album. The duo – consisting of Anthony and Michael Hannides – are known for collaborating with Zayn Malik on hit single “Pillow Talk,” which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Ella received an ASCAP 2016 Award (Hot 100 Winning Songs) yesterday

Ella received an award in the category Hot 100 Winning Songs for the song Ghost at the ASCAP London Music Awards yesterday, November 10th. Another winner in the same category was Paul McCartney.

ASCAP stands for The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, the world leader in performing rights and advocacy for music creators.

Ella's second album is now expected to be released in 2017

According to Hamada Mania Music Blog Ella is expected to release her second album in 2017 through Syco Music.

The album will include songwriting contributions from Joe Janiak, Philip Plested, Claude Kelly, JHart, Camille Purcell, Sam Romans, Jessica Ashley, Rachel Rohan, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Joseph Angel, Benjamin Arrow, Caroline Ailin, Trey Campbell, and Sarah Hudson. 

On the production front the album will  feature alliances with Dallas Austin, Cass Lowe, Parker Ighile, Fraser T. Smith, Andrew Goldstein, Emanuel Kiriakou, Jason Evigan, Warren Felder, Jez Ashurst, Josh Record, Jamie Scott, Noel Zancanella, Johan Carlsson, and GRADES.

Another possible music collaboration for the second album

Ella seems to have recently collaborated with the composer Joe Janiak.

Joe co-wrote “Make Me” for Britney Spears. The track peaked at number seventeen on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Joe has also been credited for Take That's “Higher and Higher”, Ellie Gouldings “Delirium and ”Adam Lamberts “Underground” and "The Original High".

The Daily Star Sunday reports today, October 2nd, 2016, that Ella's second album is delayed due to the lack of a big comeback hit. Ryan Tedder has been asked to write for Ella once more.

Clarence Coffee Jr. seems to collaborate with Ella for her second album. Clarence has composed songs for Selena Gomez, David Guetta and Justin Bieber, among others.

Ella has reunited with Claude Kelly for her second studio album

According to the Hamada Mania Music Blog Ella has reunited with the singer, songwriter and music producer Claude Kelly for her second studio album. 

Kelly previously co-wrote “Rockets” and “Giants” for Ella along with the songs’ producer Steve Robson. Both tracks appear on Ella's debut studio album.

Kelly’s resume boasts further works with Miley Cyrus (“Party in the USA”), Olly Murs (“Wrapped Up”), Tori Kelly (“Personal”), Jessie J (“Price Tag”), Tamar Braxton (“Raise the Bar”), and Britney Spears (“Circus”).


According to the same source Ella's still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional songwriting contributions from JHart, Camille Purcell, Sam Romans, Jessica Ashley, Joseph Angel, Rachel Rohan, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, and Sarah Hudson.

According to the Ultimate Music blog, Ella's second studio album is planned to be released "later this year". Ella has worked with the same team behind her debut album, including the platinum-selling, British singer, songwriter and producer Camille Purcell. Ella has also worked with The Script’s frontman Danny O’Donoghue.

Johan Carlsson

Ella has also  cooperated with Johan Carlsson who wrote a lot of Ella's first album Chapter One, including Pieces, Give Your Heart Away and 1996.
