"ONE of the most intimate events to showcase a young artist’s work was held on Tuesday night when Ella Henderson performed several tracks from her new album, Chapter One, in front of a crowd of music-industry enthusiasts.
Standing on the small stage with her band, the English teenager — who was a finalist on X Factor UK — lit up the
room on a rainy Sydney night with her talent and pure voice.A highlight was her rendition of her hit single Ghost. Henderson was surprised on stage when she was presented with a platinum record for the sales of Ghost in Australia by Sony chief executive Denis Handlin.
Among others present to congratulate Henderson were Tim Kelly, Jessica Mitchell, John Parker and Tammy Hofbauer. The pretty blonde hung back after her performance to mingle with guests, who were also treated to some fine wines and canapes."
